Topic: Reflection on Lessons & Carols

This morning we have heard a rich collection of biblical stories that have taken us from God’s breathing life into Adam and Eve, to the rebuilding of humanity’s broken relationship with God by giving himself to the world in the physical presence of the man Jesus Christ, who was the very Word of God in flesh and blood.

Walking into the store was instant sensory overload: blinking Christmas lights, red ceramic Christmas trees and satin bells, and statues of Santa, snowmen, elves, and reindeer. The store was sparkling and musical and happy, and without a sign of Christ in what was being prepared for.
